The 2nd on-site technical testing was a success!

From 9th to 11th October 2019 the 2nd on-site subsystem testing & technical meeting was held in PAOK’s premises, Thessaloniki – Greece. On the first two days all components (beacons, cameras, active exit-signs and sensors) were installed on the 3rd floor of the VIP area. Partners had the opportunity to test component’s functionalities, while discussing on a technical level how further they may improve the integration level and the system performance overall. During the last day the demo took place with 34 volunteers participating in the evacuation scenarios. The first results of the use of the EVAGUIDE system were impressive and showed a decrease of approximately 25% in the evacuation time!
