The 1st EVAGUIDE webinar took place on 9 July 2020 and provided valuable insights on evacuation procedures and the EVAGUIDE platform.
A total of 40 stakeholders from various organizations/ football clubs/ companies such as the FIFA/CAF, the Broendbyernes IF Football A/S, the Oxfordshire County Council and South West Region for Safety at Sports Grounds, the StadiArena Ltd, the ExpertAI-Lux etc connected to the 1hour webinar.
In the beginning a brief description of the project was presented, along with a video presentation of EVAGUIDE’s key components and functionalities. An open discussion with Mr Ken Scott, head of Inspectorate at the SGSA (Sports Grounds Safety Authority) and Advisory Board project member followed, highlighting the safety challenges the stadia face nowadays.
At the end of the webinar a Q&A session took place, responding to any comment/ question raised during the event.
